Description
Miyazawa no longer appear to make student flutes, instead focussing on handmade professional models. There isn’t much information available about this model. It was likely made in Japan and it doesn’t have the usual signs of being handmade. It does have all the features of a modern, well-built student instrument:
- Silver plated head, body, and foot
- Offset G keys
- C Foot
It also has a lovely headjoint and plays better the comparable new student instruments.
We repadded this flute in 2020. It is due for a basic service now (which is included in the price), and the existing pads should have a good few more years in them yet.
