We have two of the original Backun Moba bass clarinet mouthpieces made from Zinner hard rubber blanks. These are shop soiled and have discolouration from being in the sun.

When Ricardo Morales and Morrie Backun discussed the idea of manufacturing clarinet mouthpieces, they were faced with one question: How do we create a mouthpiece that is tailored to every player? With no simple answer, the two set out to redesign the mouthpiece from tip to table.

Bass+ – A different take on a tonal phenomenon, the MoBa Bass Plus Mouthpiece will take out the entire brass section. Definitely not for the faint of heart, the Bass+ requires a considerable amount of airflow from the bass clarinetist
